Westmoreland is a small rural town on the Sumner/Macon County line in north-central Tennessee, about 30 minutes from Portland and 45 minutes from Gallatin. It's the kind of place people move to for acreage, privacy, and land prices that just don't exist closer to Nashville: rolling farmland, ponds, and long driveways instead of subdivisions. Buyers here are usually looking for room to build, room for animals, or just room to breathe: custom home sites, hobby farms, and raw land are the norm, not the exception. It's rural without being remote (Portland and Gallatin are both a short drive away for schools, shopping, and everyday errands).
